Main Responsibilities:
Creates MOWow Moments that surprise and inspire our guests
Liaises with external partners to create unique experiences for our guests
Knows about all cultural, sports and any other activities in Muscat and surroundings
Being able, and regularly performing, duties of all functions within the Concierge Desk such as check-in, check-out, credit card handling, complaint handling, corresponding with our guests, guest relation tasks
Be the first point of contact in terms of guest relations and services
Assisting in billing and invoice preparation
Preparing reports according to MOHG standards
Upholds all standards applicable such as LQE, CQE and Forbes 5-star and always drives service excellence
Be present at the Concierge Desk at the designated shifts and support the Team operationally
Being an ambassador of the hotel, both being actively engaging with guests and with colleagues
Understands and follows all applicable standards, policies and rules both in terms of quality, sustainability and FLHSS of the Rooms Division
Develops and supports Trainees, Interns and the member of the Bell team
Handling and updating Guest360 and Fans of MO profile data
Actively advertises our Fans of MO guest recognition program to our guests
Ensure and maintain a very high standard of personal hygiene, behavior and grooming standards of staff
Handle all guest complaints and comments tactfully and escalate them in a reasonable and sensitive manner
Cooperate and coordinate teamwork with other department
Re-read and overview latest activities around the region and memorize them
Research on latest and new restaurants that can be recommended to the hotel guest
Requirements:
Senior School qualification or equivalent
Membership of Clefs d'or is an advantage
Previous experience working in the Middle East is an advantage
Minimum 2 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment
A minimum of 1 years of Concierge/ Guest Relations/ Front Office experience
Strong commands of Microsoft Office products, PSMS, GoConcierge, HotSoS
