Key Responsibilities
Lead the Food & Beverage operations , including the culinary department.
Ensure a positive work environment is established and maintained.
Lead all the functions of Food and Beverage division, facilities and financial performance to ensure maximum departmental profit and cost efficiency is achieved.
Analyze sales mix, food and beverage costings and pricing on regular basis.
Participate in marketing / promotional activities for the Food & Beverage division.
Ensure guest feedback and comments are adequately handled, In House guests and regular guests to be known and frequently met.
Conduct such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance reviews, coaching, counselling and dismissal if necessary
Review and analyze market trends globally and locally in order to keep up to date in our operation.
Lead the implementation of new F&B concepts and projects.
Provides leadership and support for all direct reports and other colleagues in the division and maintain effective employee relations.
To drive the preparation of the annual F&B budget and marketing plan, taking ownership for the F&B Division sections
Prepares F&B annual Capex plan and management of Capex projects and expenditure
Support the Food Safety program of the food and beverage division.
Review inventories and manage accordingly to needs.
Manage expenses and payroll according to operational needs.
Key competencies and background
Minimum 2 year experience as Director of Food & Beverage within luxury hotel brand / 5 star hotel; International experience is a must
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
Required: Advanced C1 knowledge of Spanish (Fluent preferred), English C1 or fluent
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including restaurants and bar management, banqueting, room service, culinary and stewarding
Previous experience in hotels with union presence preferred
Dedicated in delivering legendary guest experience
Driven, result oriented with good business acumen and finance knowledge
Strategic agility and ability to make quality decisions
Strong experience in driving marketing and public relation activities in food and beverage
Excellent people management skills
Interpersonal savvy
Displays humility, work values and integrity
