The Hotel

Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is a luxury Belle Époque palace in the city's famed Golden Triangle of Art. With over a century of history, it epitomises style and elegance. The hotel's rooms and suites, designed by Paris-based studio Gilles & Boissier, blend classic charm with modern comfort. As a culinary destination, Mandarin Oriental Ritz offers five restaurants and bars, curated by celebrated Spanish chef Quique Dacosta, including the Michelin two-starred Deessa. Guests can also unwind in the state-of-the-art wellness centre, making this iconic hotel a serene urban retreat. It's a true symbol of luxury in Madrid.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
  • Manage the group and event schedule to maximize yield
  • Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
  • Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
  • Arrange and carry out Hotel site inspections
  • Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • One year experience with experience in a sales role  
  • Proficiency in English
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
